What is CdTe and why should I care? It could be the future of solar! In this video, I will explain what Cadmium Telluride, or CdTe, solar panels are all about. Not only are they potentially cheaper than silicon pv but they also have some distinct advantages in performance. If we can overcome a few minor disadvantages, including limited supply of tellurium, we will have a very bright future (pun intended)!
